What’s the Difference?
When looking into pilates programs many people see Winsor Pilates and ask themself “what makes winsor pilates different from traditional pilates?” Really, they are very similar. What Mari Winsor has done is taken a traditional pilates workout and put a modern spin on it. Her workout program is designed to keep the benefits of Joseph Pilates workout but also make up for some of the shortfalls. The main thing missing in traditional version is a strong base of cadio. Mari Winsor incorporates the cardio aspect into her version.
Winsor Pilates also has the trademarked Dynamic Sequencing developed by Mari Winsor herself. Dynamic sequencing is a system where the right exercises and the right stretches are done at the right time in the right order, to directly target a specific area of your body, and to maximize the effect of the workout on that area.
