Winsor Pilates Review

I recently ordered the latest product in the Winsor Pilates DVD collection, the Winsor Pilates Circle Series. It comes with a Winsor Pilates Sculpting Circle, a DVD holding the 20-Minute Circle Workout, the 50-minute Accelerated Fat-Burning Workout, and the 10-minute Sculpting Blast Workout.  The package also comes with a cookbook with suggestions for tasty and easy to prepare meals, and an exercise planner in which you can record and chart your progress. When I did the 20-minute Winsor Pilates DVD for the first time, my impression was mixed. I definitely enjoyed trying the new twist on pilates with the sculpting circle, but it wasn’t as challenging as I expected.  I actually consider that to be a good thing given the results I got, as it shows that the Winsor Pilates Circle Series is both easy and fun.  I also did the 10-minute DVD immediately afterwards which focused on arms but had a variety of other targets as well.  I was very surprised; however, that there was a dance routine portion to the Circle Series workout too.  Not only did I get my workout for the day but I actually felt energized afterwards and satisfied with myself.  The day after I was a little bit sore in the mid-section, but not nearly so much so that it interfered with daily activities.  I felt it just enough for it to be encouraging.

The next day, as per the Circle Series directions, I did the 50-minute DVD workout, the cardio portion.  Before starting, I half expected this portion of the Winsor Pilates Circle Series workout to be something like running on the spot and jumping jacks.  Boy was I wrong.  This was not at all what I expected.  The first 30 minutes consisted of an exhilarating dance lesson.  The DVD goes through a fun and energetic dance routine step by step.  This portion ends by doing the dance straight through.  Though random and a little unusual in a Pilates program, it was a nice change, alot of fun, and a solid cardio workout at the same time.  After the dance lessons there is a Winsor Pilates specific cooldown routine that is based on a more traditional pilates workout.  It was a little more advanced than what I had done the previous day which was nice to have a little variation in the difficulty level. So now you’re wondering the important part… What about my results?  I’ve had the program for about a month now and its still interesting for me.  The results have been amazing.  In the first week, I lost about 4 pounds. This was a pleasant surprise.  The following week I lost another 3 pounds.  Now that I’m a month in, I’ve actually lost 12 pounds from the Winsor Pilates Circle Series and dropped almost two sizes. Overall this was a great program for the money.  You can find the Winsor Pilates Circle Series out there much cheaper than even a single week worth of pilates classes.  I wouldn’t recommend using this alone to satisfy your pilates needs if you’re a die hard pilates expert, but for the beginner and intermediate level this is a great program.  If you’re looking for something more challenging, there are other products by Mari Winsor in her Winsor Pilates DVD collection that should do the trick for you.

Here are some photo results of incredible changes to a Winsor Pilates user’s body.  Doesn’t she look incredible?  She dropped from a size 14 to a size 2 in one year!  Those kind of results give me hope!  I’m not comfortable posting my own pictures yet, but we’ll see in a couple more months using Winsor Pilates =D I’m so exited!
